Our solutions to
an electric future

The transport sector is currently responsible for 25% of the total greenhouse gas emissions in Europe and those emissions have only increased in recent years. Our goal: a climate-neutral continent by 2050. Reducing emissions by 90 % in 2050 will require ambitious interventions in the transport sector. Electric mobility is at the heart of this strategy to enter zero-emission zones.

Charging hubs

The need is there, the technology is there and the transport sector is keen to become more sustainable. But the infrastructure needs to be reliable and clear. Entent is going to roll out a Europe-wide charging network to help make the transport sector more sustainable. In the process, Entent and its hubs will focus on making life easier for carriers by offering high charging outputs, spacious charging locations and reserved spaces. The Entent charging network is optimally set up for professional use and consists of various locations spread across Europe. The locations are strategically positioned next to motorways, major business parks and in and around major cities. The decision as to which location is the best fit will be made based on available physical space, available electrical power and potential in the region.

TenT Network

The European Union has agreed with the Green Deal to lead the EU towards climate neutrality. The European Commission has published a new smart and sustainable mobility strategy for the transport sector. This sets out the strategic policy and creates the framework for delivering the greenhouse gas reductions needed by the transport sector by 2030 and by 2050. TEN-T will make an important contribution to these policy objectives. Priorities will focus on the key network corridors for increasing the sustainability of the transport sector. The fast and effective delivery of the TEN-T network is also necessary for the EU’s internal market to function optimally, by focusing on cross-border transport and on the long-distance transport parts of the network.
